When to switch diaper sizes?

When should I go up to the next size of diapers? My son is almost 3 months old, weighs 13-14 pounds. He’s very tall though so his waist is pretty small.Size 1 diapers seem to fit him, but lately they have been getting tighter, leaving some redness around his legs and since he is starting to sleep through the night, the diapers are VERY wet by the time he is changed. On nights he sleeps a full 8 hours, his diaper sometimes will even leak that it is so full. Is it time to go up to the next size?

Is it right to put cereal in a newborns formula to help them sleep longer?

I was told that once my daughter reaches 6 months I can start adding Rice Cereal to her formula by her pediatrician. Other Mom’s have recommended added a smidge of Rice Cereal to my newborns feeding at night to hold her over longer in then night. Is this okay? Any other suggestions as to helping her sleep at night?

im due in 2 wks and i keep hearing all these horrible stories about how bad and miserable its going to be when he is first born because i will never get any sleep and i will never get a break and blah blah… i know that it all depends on how your baby is, and that most babies wake up a lot during the night but is it really THAT bad?
