In this episode I go over some cloth diapering basics, what fabrics I have used and like to use for my diapers and for stuffing the pocket diapers, and also what kinds of closures I use on my baby’s cloth diapers. I go over fitted diapers and fleece pocket diapers (aka- AI2s), TouchTape, Aplix, and snaps. I discuss why I like using pocket diapers and what I use to stuff them. I teach you how to make some absorbent soakers for your pocket diapers made out of a cotton sweatshirt—- I make 7 double-layered soakers for only {video_description}.50. I go over microfiber towels used as soakers and where I purchased mine for a very low price. Please note that I do NOT claim to be any cloth diapering authority at all. I simply wanted to share a little bit of my experience because when I was doing research on cloth diapers it was very overwhelming. I hope this episode helps you get a little start on doing the research so that you will consider cloth diapering your baby! We love our cloth diapers and they have saved us a TON of money!

            BUMGENIUS AIO Cloth diaper

This is a sized Bumgenius AIO with velcro closure. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!!! It is MUCH trimmer than the pocket diapers I was using. The fit is great. Plus it’s super cute!! The only negatives I have found so far is it takes a lot longer to dry than the others I have. and i think it’s easier to spray of the pocket diapers since the inserts come out. But neither of those are a big deal. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend!!!!! : )
