Fitted cloth diapers at night- using g diaper cover as a diaper cover? Good diaper covers?
So, I just won a big lot of WAHM cloth fitted diapers which I want to start using at night on my son. They are a bit bulky so, I am wondering what a good cover would be for them? I have also used g diapers so, I am trying the g diaper cover tonight, but it seems a bit awkward. But is it always a bit awkward and bulky when working with fitteds since you have a cover? What are some good cheap covers besides the cheap plastic pull-overs by gerber and such that you can buy at walmart. My son can’t wear those.

Try fleece covers for nighttime use, or wool, which you can find for quite cheap on the FSOT forum of diaperswappers. You can also make your own fleece soaker for very cheap (I made 3 out of one yard of cloth, size XL). I don’t use g diapers so I can’t tell you how your initial idea will work. Thirsties PUL covers are also good to use for nights and these are my favorite PUL covers. They run about $12 but you can get them used. I’ve purchased several used pockets and covers and they’ve all been in really good condition and very clean.
I use super whisper wraps. I have them in two sizes and I use the larger size over bulkier fitted diapers. But – I had to order them online. I got mine from

I like wool for at night as well. I’m not very crafty, and I’ve made several wool soakers out of thrift store sweaters.
